The Bomba Blu
The Out of Order Shaker Automatic GMT "Bomba Blu" features a case (40 mm x 13.08 mm) crafted from 316L stainless steel with a ultra detailed brushed and polished finishing.
Created in 1980 by an Italian barman Giovanni Pepè with the colorful nickname of Mammina, his signature drink, the Blue Bomb, is a simple variant of the Blue Lagoon. As a popular drink in Italy of the 1990’s, it was also known as the Blue Angel because it "gives you wings".
For others it’s a tribute to the 1930 film from Marlene Dietrich or even one of the nicknames of the warrior Ken Shiro from a mythical Japanese cartoon.

This model is equipped with an automatic movement with GMT function, the Japanese-made Seiko NH34a.
This unmistakable drink was also a favorite of actor Don Johnson who played Sonny in the cult TV show Miami Vice. Out of Order® is also on the long list of Blue Bomb fans, and for our fellow OOO travelers, we’ve dedicated a shaded dial in tones of blue and light blue to this intriguing cocktail as a tribute to the Caribbean island of Curaçao with its shiny beaches and crystalline sea.
