Out of Order’s creatives drew inspiration from geometric figures such as straight lines, spirals, triangles, and rhombuses, which the Aztecs used to create repetitive, symmetrical patterns. These motifs, carved in stone or painted on ceramics and textiles, reflect a strong sense of order and symmetry.
These artistic elements, which remain fascinating and distinctive today, reflect the Aztecs’ enigmatic worldview, where every motif had a specific meaning. In the Diverissimo Sand, these patterns come to life in a sophisticated texture visible on the double-layer dial, with the sand upper layer decorated with dual Superluminova® C3 printing. This detail adds a captivating visual element, especially at sunset, paying homage to a culture that left an indelible mark on art history.
